Dietary guidance: v
1/4 cup olive oil
4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes (add more if you like a spicier sauce)
1 cup heavy cream
1 1/2 lb. fresh broccoli
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
15 oz. package frozen cheese ravioli, cooked
1. Heat oil in medium saucepan. Add garlic, salt, pepper and red pepper.
2. Cut broccoli into florets. Add garlic and broccoli to the pan and sauté unit the garlic is lightly browned. 5-7 mins.
3. Add cream; cook 7 - 8 min. to thicken, stirring occasionally.
4. Add Parmesan cheese to sauce mixture, stir to blend.
Cook until all is mixed well and sauce has thickened appropriately. 4 - 5 minutes.
Spoon over cooked cheese ravioli and garnish with shredded parmesan. I serve with cooked fresh carrots and a slice of french bread to soak up all the goodness of the sauce.
