â€¢ 1 lb. extra lean grass fed ground beef
â€¢ ½ apple diced fine
â€¢ 1 jalapeno diced fine
â€¢ ¼ cup orange and yellow bell peppers diced fine
â€¢ 1 egg
â€¢ 1 tsp garlic
â€¢ 1 tsp parsley
â€¢ 1 tsp basil
â€¢ 1 ½ tsp sea salt
â€¢ ½ tsp pepper
â€¢ ¼ cup Coconut Aminos
â€¢ 3-4 green onions chopped fine (optional, for garnish)
â€¢ Olive oil , for cooking (or coconut oil)
â€¢ ¼ cup Coconut Aminos Teriyaki Sauce
â€¢ 2 Tbsp Ghee (melted)
â€¢ 2 Tbsp Coconut Aminos
1. Mix ground meat with all ingredients thoroughly (except the oil) and form into balls.
2. Heat a drizzle of olive or coconut oil in a medium pan over medium heat. Place meatballs into pan and cook 8-10 or until browned on both sides.
3. Remove from pan and place on a cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for approximately 20 minutes or until cooked thoroughly.
4. Garnish with chopped green onions (optional)
