14 ounces self-raising flour
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 (12-ounce) can of beer (Non-alcoholic beer can be used too)
Preheat oven to 375*F (190*C).
Lightly grease a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan (or other deep pan).
Combine all ingredients, mixing well.
Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 1 hour.
Makes 1 loaf.
