Dietary guidance: v
1 can of whole plum tomatoes
4 large garlic cloves chopped
1/2 cup of fresh basil finely chopped
a couple pinches of salt
a couple pinches fresh ground pepper
aprox 3 tsp of extra virgin olive oil
1 tbs tomato paste
1 medium skillet
3 tbs of olive oil
add your oil and heat your skillet to a medium heat, add in your garlic and sate for aprox 30secs. Drain your tomatoes and add into the skillet, chop them slightly with your spatula and then mix in 1 qrtr of your basil, a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper and let simmer for aprox 15-20 min occasionally stirring. Next stir in your tomato paste the remainder of your basil, salt and pepper to taste, simmer for another 5 min and presto..
