Bean Dip

1/4 lb butter
5 green onions, finely chopped
1 can refried beans
1 can red kidney beans, drained
cayenne pepper, to taste
1/2 lb cheddar cheese, grated
1 ripe tomato, diced


In a large skillet; melt butter. Add onions and sauté. Add refried beans and kidney beans; stir. Add cayenne pepper to taste. Cool mixture in pan.

Add cheese and tomatoes; stir. Place in lightly greased baking dish. Bake in preheated 350 F oven for 30 minutes. Serve with taco chips.
