3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
cinnamon and clove
In 12" skillet with oven-proof handle, heat margarine, 1/2 cup sugar, and 1/4 cup water to boiling. Add apple wedges and cook 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until apples are golden and sugar mix begins to carmelize. Sprinkle apples with a little cinnamon and clove while cooking.
Blend eggs, milk, flour, salt, and 2 tablespoons sugar until smooth, in mixer or blender. Pour batter over apples in skillet. Place skillet in oven. Bake 15 minutes at 425 degrees until puffy and golden.
