1 (6 ounce) package chow mein noodles, divided
2 cups cubed, cooked chicken
4 celery ribs, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 cup milk
1 (8 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, undrained
1 (4 ounce) jar sliced mushrooms, undrained
1/2 cup cashews
Sprinkle half of the chow mein noodles into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish.
In a bowl, combine the chicken, celery, onion, soups, milk, water chestnuts, mushrooms and cashews.
Spoon over the noodles; top with remaining noodles.
Bake, uncovered, at 325 degrees F for 35-40 minutes or until heated through.
