Preparation time: 20-40 mins

Chicken breasts (as many as you want)
Onions (as many as you want)
Potatoes (as many as you want)
Apples (as many as you want)
Cumin (as much as you want)
You can prepare this meal pretty much any way you want. This is how I do it, using a skillet and slow cooker:
Cook the onions in olive oil, until sweating or caramelized.
Quarter your potatoes and then mix them with the onions. Add lots of cumin and stir it all up. Put it in the slow cooker.
Place chicken breasts on top.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours, and add sliced apples on top for the last hour. Add more cumin if you wish.
When done, the chicken should pretty much fall apart with a fork, and you can mix it all up together. Serve with salad or green veggies on the side.
This recipe is pretty versitile. You can also cook all the ingredients in a skillet, and instead of frying the potatoes, mash them and serve the chicken/apple/onion concoction on top.
Other good variations: add coconut milk, curry powder, garam masala for a korma-type dish.
