1 tbsp. ginger
2 tsp soda
¼ tsp salt ¾ cup Crisco shortening
1 cup of sugar
¼ cup fancy molasses (cooking Domolco)
Mix shortening, sugar, egg and molasses.
Mix remaining dry ingredients, then combine with molasses mixture.
Make into balls and place on a non-stick pan about 2â€ apart.
