Buns/Dinner Rolls

This recipe makes soft dinner rolls... this recipe can also be used for cinnamon buns.

8 C. Flour
2 Tbsp. Yeast
3 C. Hot Water
1/2 C. Sugar
1/3 C. Oil
2 Eggs
1 Tsp. Salt


Mix yeast in 4 cups of flour.
In seperate bowl: Mix water, oil, sugar and eggs. Add yeast & flour mix. Beat for 5 minutes. Add remaining flour and salt. Knead. Cover with damp cloth. Rise 15 minutes. Punch. Cover, rise 15 minutes. Punch. Make into buns and place into greased pan(s). Cover with damp cloth and rise 30 minutes. Brush tops with melted butter (optional). Bake @ 350 degrees until buns are lightly browned on the tops.
