Tangy Pot Roast

Perfect for everyday or special occasions. It is best served over rice with a salad.

Cooking time: 8 hours

Serves: 4-5


1 boneless beef chuck roast or pot roast (3 lbs)
1 cup ketchup
1 cup water
2 tsps dijon mustard
1 tsp woostershire sauce
1 clove garlic minced
1/2 cup white wine
1/2 beef broth
1 envelop brown gravy mix


Place roast in the crock pot. Meanwhile in a mixing bowl mix the rest of the ingredients together and stir well. (Make sure the dijon mustard has broken up) Pour over roast. Cover roast and cook on low 8-9 hours or on high 5-6 hours. Served best over hot cooked rice.
