Cooking time: 40 minutes
Serves: 3 or 4 depending on amount of chicken you use
1 large onion
margarine or butter
3 small cans cream of mushroom soup( or cream of chicken)
6 chicken thighs or 4 chicken breasts or combination of both
carrots or broccoli
salt and pepper to taste
1 pkge broad egg noodles
Saute 1 onion in margarine, add 5 or 6 thighs( or you can use breasts or a combination) brown , then add 3 small cans cream of mushroom soup, mix well and add lots of paprika, let simmer for about 30 to 40 minutes 'til chicken is tender.I like to add carrots to the sauce or you can add broccoli or your favourite veggie (add to simmer with chicken) Boil egg noodles (broad ones) Serve chicken and sauce over noodles. It's delicious.
for an Italian flavour, you can garnish with Parmesan cheese--excellent either way.
