These buns can be made plain or stuffed. By varying the size they can be had as dinner rolls or a fun snack if made bite size....

7gm yeast (1/4oz)
1 teaspoon sugar
4 cups plain flour
1 tablespoon sugar- extra
1tsp salt
1cup warm milk
1/4 cup vegi oil
1 egg yolk
stuffing- any cheese ( feta/cheddar/monteray)
(arab zatr is good to use also)
sprinkles optional seeds poppy/caraway/sesame


1.Mix yeast, sugar & 1/4 cup warm water- let it sit for 10 mins till foamy.

2.Mix flour,salt, & the extra sugar. Pour in milk, oil & foamy yeast. Mix to make a soft dough, knead for about 10 mins ( until elastic& smooth) if it becomes too sticky add a lil flour. Cover loosely in a greased bowl for 1hr ( or until double in size)

3.Make balls using ur palms, put in stuffing & roll up using palm.

4. Brush with egg yolk before baking for golden brown finish.

5. Bake for 15 mins or till golden brown @ 350 degrees F-
180 degrees C
