peel of 6 lemons (no white)
1 Litre 99% alcohol (pure)
500 grams sugar
Put lemon peel in alcohol & wait 3 days to 1 week or until liquid is yellow and strong in smell. DO NOT TASTE!
Cook sugar and water until sugar is dissolved. Add to Alcohol mixture at a ratio of 10parts water to 1part alcohol.
Pour into glass jars - about 3/4 full & store in freezer or other cold storage.
