Cooking time: 40 minutes
1 pkg onion soup mix
1 1/2 cups orange juice
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp minced gingerroot
(or 3/4 tsp ground ginger)
3 pounds (1.5Kg) chicken pieces
1/4 - 1/2 cup water
In medium saucepan combine soupmix, juice, sugar & ginger. Bring to a boil, simmer 8-10minutes & set aside.
Cook chicken on grill for 20minutes on each side, or until juices run clear. During last 15minutes, brush sauce on chicken.
Bring remaining sauce to a boil. Add water to get desired consistancy. Serve with chicken.
