Flat Bread (grandma Affleck)

Serves: 24 small


2 Tbsp Flax (whole or ground)
1 Tbsp sesame seed
4 cups oatmeal
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup Brown sugar
1 pinch Salt
1 cup Margarine (melted)
¾ cup fine coconut
¾ cup hot water
2 tsp soda
1 tsp vanilla


Combine first 6 ingredients; Mix.
Add melted margarine and coconut; Mix.
Disolve soda in hot water – add with vanilla; Mix.
Make into 5 or 6 balls for easy rolling – use white flour for this & roll it as thin as possible!
Cut in squares & bake on a cookie sheet
350° for 10 to 15 minutes until brown.
