2 Green Tomatoes
1 cup All Purpose Flour
2 cups Italian Bread Crumbs
1-2 eggs, beaten
1/2 inch of olive or vegetable oil in skillet
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Heat oil to Med-hi on stovetop.
Slice tomatoes to about 1/4 of an inch.
Salt and pepper them and let them sit for about 10 min.
Add garlic powder to flour. Coat tomatoes with flour.
Coat with egg.
Next, coat with Italian bread crumbs.
Fry in oil until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels, and dip in ranch, raita, creamy dijon, or whatever dipping sauce you like.
