Baked Ziti

A hearty, somewhat healthy, meal.. with lots of cheese

Preparation time: 20 mins
Cooking time: 30 mins

Serves: 8-10


2 lbs ground turkey - thawed
1 lb penne pasta
1/2 cup olive oil
1 1/2 lbs of mozzarella cheese
1 1/2 lbs of your favorite tomato sauce
32 oz of ricotta cheese
Parmesan cheese to top


Grate mozzarella cheese, set aside
Brown ground turkey and set aside
Cook pasta before al dente
Pre heat oven at 325 degrees F
Drain pasta and coat with olive oil
Add tomato sauce and turkey meat
Put mixture in an oven safe baking dish
Put a thick layer of ricotta cheese, as much as you
Put a thick layer of mozzarella cheese
Bake for 30 mins, then broil to brown cheese
Top with Parmesan cheese

Serve immediately and enjoy!
