Dietary guidance: v
Use a large-ish post
Syrup
2 ½ cups boiling water
1 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
2 lids of brandy (I never used this)
Dumplings
1 ½ cups flour
¼ tsp salt
2 tsp bi-carb
½ cup butter or marg
½ cup apricot jam
melt butter and jam in bi-carb in pot
stir flour and alt into above mixture
mix well
spoon mixture into boiling syrup
put lid on pot and cook on top of stove for about 10 minutes
Serve with Custard….. I just used the bought custard.
