1 head lettuce, chopped (I prefer iceberg lettuce)
1 cup chopped celery
6 hardboiled eggs, sliced
1 cup cooked peas
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
8 green onions, sliced
8 bacon slices, cooked and crumbled/sliced
1 cup mayonaise (I usually use light Miracle Whip)
1 cup sour cream (fat-free works great)
2 Tablespoons sugar
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
4 bacon slices, cooked and crumbled/sliced
Prepare the salad ingredients. Layer in a 9X13" baking dish or large bowl in the order listed.
Mix dressing ingredients in small bowl and spread over salad layers.
Sprinkle with topping ingredients: cheese and bacon.
Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.
