Easy - for beginners
Combine chicken base, water, butter, chopped onion and sugar.
Simmer until onions are clear.
Add tomatoes, baking soda and stir well.
Add cream, liquid creamer and heat to serve.
Comment: I was given this recipe on a card by a waitress at the Miles City Montana 4Bs restaurant after telling her that I had driven all the way from minnesota for this soup (it’s the closest 4Bs to Minnesota). The recipe was pre-printed on a post card so, I don’t think she was giving away any trade or family secrets. I’ts also on their website www.4bs.com . However, this is very possibly one of the best soups I’ve ever had. Very few even come close.
