Cashew Tofu Spread

Spread for Crackers, Bread or veggies


  • 1 package tofu - firm or less firm
  • 1/4 c nutritional yeast
  • vegan mayo to taste
  • 1/2 c raw cashews, chopped
  • 1/2 head parsley
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1/2 roast red pepper - you can buy this but its easy to roast on the grill or broiler- skinned
  • 1/4 c white raw or roasted sesame seeds
  • tamari to taste
  • dijon mustard to taste
  • garlic


mash tofu in a bowl mince veggies chop cashews add all ingredients above add mayo, mustard, yeast, spices mix and refrigerate will be dense, cashews soften up after refrigeration for a day
