Chinese Brown Sauce (Stir-Fry Sauce)

This is a simple recipe for a sauce you can stir-fry your chinese dishes in. it's great for vegetables and cuts of chicken, beef etc...


  • 3/4 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon & 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch


You may prepare this sauce separately for use in your chinese cooking, or you can create your sauce directly in your wok during stir-fry time.

Combine all ingredients and bring to boil. Stir thoroughly.

Finished sauce should be slightly thick.
