Creamy Madras Curry

Beef Madras curry with a creamy base on steamed rice


  • 500g gravy/casserole beef, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic,crushed
  • 4 tbs Madras curry paste (any brand) also can decrease or increase curry paste to tastes
  • 200g diced tomatoes
  • 300mL coconut milk
  • steamed rice


Saute onion and garlic, add curry paste and stir fry until fragrant. Add beef and cook until browned. Add tomatoes and coconut milk and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes - 1 hour (until beef is tender) Serve over steamed rice
