Crock Pot Herbed Chicken
Easy - for beginners Serves: 10-12


This is such an easy way to prepare a chicken. It turns out moist and tender every time!


  • 3 lbs whole chicken (or chicken leg quarters)
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp melted butter


Spray crockpot with Pam. Mix seasonings; sprinkle 1 tsp mixture in chicken cavity. Sprinkle remaining seasonings over chicken. Drizzle with lemon juice and butter. Put lid on crockpot and cook on low for 5-6 hours (or high for 3-4 hours). (To use frozen chicken, just increase cook time to LOW for 8+ hours.)
