Easy 7-Up Biscuits (Popeye’s Copycat Recipe)
Easy - for beginners

Description

Learn how to make fluffy, easy 7-Up biscuits at home with this simple Popeye's copycat recipe. Perfect for a quick and delicious side.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Bisquick
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (I used the light version)
  • 1/2 cup 7-Up (used regular but might try diet next time)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Method

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Cut sour cream into the biscuit mix, add 7-Up. Makes a very soft dough. Sprinkle additional biscuit mix onto the cutting board and pat dough out. Melt butter in 9 inch square pan. Cut biscuits out in circles (use a drinking glass if no biscuit cutter) and put in pan over the butter. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Recipe made 10 biscuits using the glass to cut them out, only 9 will fit in that square pan so will have to use 2 pans or just use cookie sheet, either way will work.
