Killer Lamb Stew

Preparation time: 20 mins Cooking time: 4-6 hours Easy - for beginners Serves: 10-12


Yummy.... But, if you prefer beef, feel free to add it....


  • 1/2 pound lamb stew beef
  • 1 large can diced pototoes
  • 1 cup baby carrots
  • 1 cup fresh mushrooms, quartered
  • 4-5 celery ribs, chopped (about 1/2 inch thick)
  • 1 pkg onion soup mix
  • 1-1/2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup bisto beef gravy mix


  1. Place all ingredients, except onion soup mix, water & bisto gravy mix in a 6 quart slow cooker… Mix around

  2. Mix onion soup mix with water, and pour over vegetables & meat. Stir to coat

  3. Cook in slow cooker on low for 4 to 6 hours or until meat is tender

  4. Slowly whisk in gravy mix, and cover & let stand with slow cooker on warm (or off) for about 5 mins to set gravy

  5. Serve with biscuits or toast & enjoy!
