Mexican Prawn Canapes

Mexican Prawn Canapes
Preparation time: 10 Easy - for beginners Serves: 8


Simple Spicy dish to serve either as a starter or as a taster


  • 2 Tomatoes Finely diced
  • 1/2 Red Onion Finely diced
  • 1 Avocado chopped - depending on size
  • 8-10 medium sized cooked prawns cut into bite size pieces
  • 3 tbspn Flaschengeist Mexican Oil
  • 2 tbspn Flaschengeist Chilli Dukkah
  • 1 tbspn Flaschengeist Lemon Lime Daiquiri Liqueur
  • Squirt of Lemon Juice
  • Salt & Pepper to taste


Marinate Avocado in Lemon Lime Daiquiri Liqueur & Lemon Juice while preparing rest of dish

Combine all ingredients excluding a tbspn of Dukkah and leave to marinate for 30 minutes or so.

Serve in small bowls or chinese spoons.
Sprinkle remainder of Dukkah on top of each before serving.

Green prawns can be used - refer to my other recipe for Mexican Prawns for cooking instructions.

HINT: Replace prawns with chicken or tender beef slices if preferred.
