Nalysnyky is Ukrainian for crepes. I make this every January for either Ukrainian Christmas or New Years. It goes over really well. 418 calories per serving 240 mg cholesterol 26.4g protein
Preheat oven to 300*F
To make the batter, mix eggs, milk and 1 tbsp sugar together
Add vanilla extract and oil
Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together and add to milk mixture, stirring until smooth
Using a greased frying pan, fry the batter into thin crepes.
Set crepes aside and seperate between waxed papaer.
To make filling:
Mix cottage cheese, eggs, salt, 1 tbsp sugar and dill
Spread over each crepe about 1-2 tbsp (depends on how big your Nalysnyky are) and roll up
Arrange Nalysnyky into a well buttered casserole dish, cover with foil.
Drizzle each Nalysnyky with sweet cream
Bake at 300*F for 35 minutes. Uncover towards to end so thy can brown a little.
