Ingredients

  • 2 bananas, half stick of butter, 1/3 cup brown sugar, 1 or 2 shots of banana liqueur, 1 or 2 shots of Captain Morgan’s rum or brandy or alcohol of choice. 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Bowls of vanilla ice cream.

Method

Chop up bananas, and melt butter in medium skillet. Add brown sugar until it starts to caramelize. Add bananas & alcohols and set on fire if desired, (this is mostly for show) otherwise continue to brown. Extinguish flames with lid (if necessary) and pour over ice cream. Top with a light sprinkling of cinnamon (or nuts, whip cream, etc.) and devour.
