Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ lbs Beef fillet, sliced in ½ strips cut crosswise
  • 1 tsp Cooking oil
  • 5 slices Thick bacon, sliced in ¼ strips cut crosswise
  • 1 jar Veracruz Cooking Sauce
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 8 Corn tortillas

Method

¢ Pour oil on a large skillet and heat over medium-high heat. When oil is hot but not smoking, add the sliced beef and brown on all sides, about 5 minutes. Place meat and its juice on a dish, set aside. ¢ Add the bacon to that same skillet and fry until light brown, about 3 minutes. Add Veracruz Cooking Sauce to skillet, stir and cook over medium heat for 5 more minutes. Add the meat back to skillet with the sauce and continue to cook for 5 minutes. Serve with warm corn tortillas on the side. Enjoy!
